Phase 1 Build Your Hand
🃏Everyone starts with 3 cards. The last card in the deck becomes the trump suit — revealed after Phase 1 ends.
▶On your turn, play any card face-up on the table.
🏆The highest card wins the trick — those cards go to your pile (your Phase 2 hand!).
🔄After each trick, all players draw a new card from the deck.
♦The trump suit beats all other suits — draw it wisely!
Phase 2 Play Out Your Cards
🎯Goal: be the first to play all your cards. The last player holding cards gets Mattis and loses!
▶On your turn, play a card that beats the highest card on the table.
✅You can beat with: same suit + higher value ✓ or any trump card ✓
😬Can't beat? Press Draw Lowest — you take the first card placed on the table. It adds to your hand penalty
⏭Players who drew sit out the rest of that trick.
💡 Sequences (if enabled): play a consecutive same-suit run, e.g. 7♠ 8♠ 9♠. The run's highest card must beat the table.

👑Trump always beats any non-trump card, regardless of value.
⚔️A higher trump beats a lower trump.
